DESI has been generating awareness on Drug addiction in different districts highlighting the harms it can bring to individuals, families and society. Drug addiction is a growing menace to Indian economy as millions of our population’s economic and productive energies are wasted, besides multifarious other problems such as: unintentional injuries, accidents, domestic violence, increase in diseases including STD (as unsafe sex is also associated with drug addition) and death with prolonged use-Affects relationships with family, friends creating emotional and social problems-Increases financial burden. MEERUT Police seized the house of drug smuggler Haji Tasleem in Lisari Gate area here on Wednesday.
